If you enjoy a beer ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques at home. Take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well experience a success following a drunken night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that account because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit drastic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is a requirement. If you play to win, then don’t drink and bet. If you can afford to burn your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the no charge beer your stomach can handle, but do not take charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your inebriated self throws away all the cash!
